I had a laproscopy yesterday because a recent scan had shown what the surgeon thought were calcium deposits. They turned out to be adhesions. Has any else had these? what was done with them? what effect did they have on health? Is there any potential for them to turn cancerous? Is it safe just to leave them alone?? Any advice greatly appreciated before I next see the surgeon. Thanks Chris

Hi Chris,
I know it's quite a while since you posted this but if you had adhesions then you will more than likeley still have them now. 95% of people who have surgery have adhesions. They don't normally become cancerious but they can cause a lot of other problems such as intestinal problems, bowel blockages, infertility in wimen and chronic pain.
