My grandmother had triple bypass six weeks ago. She needed a 2nd surgery that night due to a slow leak that left blood on her lungs. She had numerous xrays during her two weeks at the hospital. Nothing showed. However, now she has mild pneumonia and nodules on her lung. Her doctor said this is probably from her 2nd surgery. Of course, we're worried about cancer. Can these nodules be from her surgery or from the pneumonia? Can they be noncancerous. I'm so worried. She hasn't recovered from her bypasses and now this. Please share any info you have. Thanks!
