Following sinus infection, I recently (2 weeks ago)had a CT of my sinuses, brain, and face/jaws by the ENT, and wont see him again till Thursday. Does this test cover the brain stem as well? I go home from work at lunchtime ready to fall asleep, then I doze or nap at home and when I wake up I'm in a stupor--cant think straight.
I am tapering off zoloft and have had various antidepressants over the years, as well as seroquel, a neuroleptic, for the last 3 years, ending this past August. Can these symptoms be serious brain stuff (my headaches stopped as I tapered off zoloft)? And can a neuroleptic, or for that matter, SSRIs, cause brain damage? I figure the stupor is zoloft withdrawal, since none of this happened till I started off that drug (it kept me awake for 6 weeks straight)--but I want some replies from you-all to get an idea of your experiences before i go back to the ENT.
