Hi,

For a couple of months I have had dirreah on and off, the stools have gone from pale to dark, to pale, sometimes dark and pebble like.

I have also had a noisy stomach, and in the last week have a dull ache in my right side which went completely yesterday but is back today with the dull ache going down my right thigh and nausea

I have had stool tests and nothing came back from that and all blood tests have been fine.

I have to see the gastro specilist on the 15th February to sort out a colonoscopy.

I have also just found out I have nodules on my thyroid and due to see a specialist for that. But Im not sure if the stomach problems are connected to that.

My Dr said it sounded like IBS.

Any thoughts?

Hi! I can't tell you if you have IBS. Some of your symptoms are on the list but, it could just as easily be your thyroid. Some of your symptoms are on that list too. I'm glad you have appt. with your GI and an endo. That's where you'll get your answers. I'm not trying to be difficult it's just that we aren't doctors and it sounds like that's what you need to answer your question. I hope it all turns out well for you. Take care.
