A couple years ago and then again last year I have had MRI's of my brain. The results revealed that I have many numerous small white spots on my brain. I asked my neoroligist what that means, and he could not give me an explanation. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this problem I have or also have the same thing as I do, please reply. Help!

Hi I also have had a mri of the brain that shows white spots. I still have not been dx. I find it odd that your neuro could not give you any explanation. I have had a spinal tap to test for MS that was neg. And am waiting for emg report. My neuro said that white spots can also be from age with risk factors such as high bp and cholesterol, and I have heard that lyme disease can show white spots. Do you have any other symptoms? Check out
the lyme board and the ms board. Hope this helps....good luck

Thank you for your reply, also please let me know when you find out anything about your problem. Yes, I have tingling and numbing on my left side, weakness in my legs, and having problems with lower back pain and walking. I also have balance problems, and seem to fall alot.

sounds abit like MS to me cause when they do an MRI they are checking for lesions on the brain and as such.
