Dear Readers,
I find myself in a very difficult situation. My sister has stage 4 ovarian cancer. She is now living with my family. We have two other brothers and one parent alive but they live far from us.I am finding it difficult in these later stages to deal with the whole event without their support. I have a new husbund and stepson and two daughters to raise and I am also the primary caregiver of my sis. She is getting ready for her second radical surgery. Help with any words of encouragement you may have or advise. I am so overwhelmed. My sis is everything to me but I am afraid my family will not stay healthy through it all.
Thank you
Alyce

Maybe your sister would agree to live in a hospice if you could spend a lot of time with her? Then you would have the evenings to recoup your strength for the next day. If this is not possible, could you hire someone to live-in to help you take care of her? If you can't afford it maybe your brothers would help? (They really should help you.)
