Ok I am sick of my nails!

I have tried to grow them, but they always peel or break or I end up picking them to death. :rolleyes:

I've had acrylic nails before. They've always been polished with a color. In my new profession, I can't have colored nails. Is there a way to get fake nails to look natural or like a french manicure? A *realistic* french manicure, that is!

Please advise!!

do just as you said; get your acrylics done with a french manicure. They won't look real b/c they are fake, but they will look nice and manicured.

You could also get a light peach color on your nails (even clear when it's first done - after a few times clear wouldn't look right because of the new growth and new fill that you'll be able to see!)

Try getting the "pink & whites" ...they are called different things in different areas. They are basically acrylic nails that are done with white acrylic on the tips and pink acrylic on the nail beds...they are then buffed to a nice shine instead of polish. The shine lasts a long time and they are much more natural looking than the french manicure with those awful stark white tips.
