Just a quick question,, can one of the symptoms of high blood pressure be a spaced-out feeling / "foggy brain" feeling and mild dizziness?

short answer - yes
i never felt like that though until i was put on meds, but i still feel like it now that i am trying to go unmedicated when my bp spikes up

When my diastolic number gets to be 100 and up , I feel symptoms, short of breath and light headedness.

On a side note, the symptoms you describe can also describe Thyroid disorders and Anxiety.

yes, it can. don't worry. trust your doctor. are you on medications? how high is your pressure?

definitely. you can feel a tightness in your being. how high is high for you?

hi there, i don't know what happened to my last reply....anyways YES high blood pressure can make you feel exactly like that. it's usually HIGH when you feel like that. tell your doctor you want to know WHY you have high blood pressure, get yourself a wrist monitor and monitor it at home yourself and bring him/her the readings.

I think to those symptoms, you can add an increased number of headaches.

sounds like my symptoms. monitor it yourself with a wrist monitor and you will find that when you feel like that, your BP is up. Good luck. :wave:
