I just wanted to thank the person who posted about the Nature's Tears. I went out and got some yesterday. I can't find the post about it so, I am sorry I can't actually say thank you to you! Anyway, I was so tired of the drip of the Systane Eye drops I was using. It was a bit of a pain to keep wiping my eye lashes and the areas around my eyes every time I used it. The Nature's Tears EyeMist works pretty well. I will still use the Systane because it seems to wet them a little more than the mist but, the Mist is better with makeup and it works well. Thank you again!

I looked at the website, I dont like the idea of spraying it and it goes right on your skin. My skins sensitive, and seems lik eit'd make your skin sticky? Is it worht it, and whats it cost?

It's actually not bad at all. It took me a little while to get used to it. The instructions are to hold it 12-15 inches (arms length) from your face and spray back and forth keeping your eyes open. Once I started holding it away at that distance I realized that it isn't hard to handle at all. It is refreshing. And, I have sensitive skin and I wear makeup so, if it doesn't bother my skin, I don't think it will bother yours. It isn't sticky at all. Of course, the more you use at a time, the wetter your skin gets but, it isn't anything a paper towl, hand towel, sleeve or whatever you have handy can't fix. Heheh! It does mist onto your clothes and your hair a little. I hold a papertowl over my hair to keep most of it off. I got a box with 2 containers for $14.99. I haven't used the first container up yet and the price seems worth it so far. It kind of feels like water. And because it is a mist, not thick droplets, it is surprisingly easy to keep your eyes open while using it. Even for a person whose biggest problem is having things touch or get into my eyes. You might try it and if you don't like it, you can probably just take it back. Just remember that if you try it, hold it arms length (12-15 inches) away from your face.

Hey Scion...do you have Eckerds or CVS? They should have it. I don't know how new it is. I also use Systane. It seems to work really well. They are eye drops. I got free vials of them from my doc and have found that they are the best so far. The only thing about Nature's tears is that the first can of it that I was using ran out. That is a pretty short time and since it is kind of costly, while I do love it, until I can start weening myself off of lubrications and can use less of it, I think I will hold off on getting any more. My eyes were pretty good with moisture over the weekend partly because I didn't wear any eyeshadow and also because the air in my house is less dry than the air at work. I want to see if I can talk the bosses into getting a humidifier for our office. I don't know that they will but, we'll see.
How are your eyes? Have they straightened out any? I am kind of headachey today...partly because I have been squinting from the dryness, part of it is sinus.
I was having this kind of pulling feeling in my right eye for a couple days last week when I would try to read things with numbers or letter as a distance. That seems to have tamed some. I thought that it might have been that grain of sand level of astigmatism that they were saying they might not have been able to correct with my innitial surgery (they told me that before the surgery). I never really understood what astimatism did or how it felt. So, I thought that might be what I was feeling. Now since that pulling feeling has kind of subsided or lessened...I wonder if it was just the natural healing, one eye healing faster or at a different level than the other.
I went to a basketball game Friday (Hawks Versus the Heat) and, while my eyes were dry causing them to be a bit blurry, it was nice to be able to see Shaq really well and I could see all the celebrities that a game with Shaq inevitibly brings. So, that was my first major sight seeing adventure and I have to say that it went really well!
Hope all is going as well, if not better, for you!

I feel a lot better. my left eye sometimes is fuzzy, but not much. I just get scared the vision wont last cause its so unreal to see good haha. but yea i had the pulling feeling too, like one eye was fighting harder to stay aligned and in power w/ the other eye haha.

I am glad that you like it. I hope it helps. One thing with the blurriness might be that your cornea in that eye may be a little dry and you just don't notice it. When it gets blurry just give it a good lubrication and see if that helps. I am always a little blurry for a couple minutes after I use my drops but, that clears and things get better.
That pulling feeling was annoying and I still feel it now and then but, as my doc told me, they heal at different levels so, it is nothing to worry about.
Did the Nature's Tears irritate your skin at all? I wouldn't think it would. In fact, it probably helps to keep it hyrdrated throughout the wintery days.
As for people thinking you are a freak in class...maybe they think you are trying to be a rock star! Heheh! "I wear my sunglasses at night"...are you even old enough to know that song? Hehehe!
I scared myself a couple times last night because I rubbed my eyes a couple times in my sleep. What the heck is with that? I only did it once to my right eye last week but all of a sudden my fingers thought they needed to mess with my eyes last night in my sleep. I am thinking I might need to tie my hands behind my back at night for a while until I get over this need to rub my eyes in my sleep. Ugh! Freaking fingers! Heheheeh! I really don't want to wear those goggles again. They weren't very comfy and they made it difficult to sleep. But, I would rather lose sleep than lose my vision.
Glad to hear that that eye has cleared and it sounds like you are experiencing pretty much the same stuff that I have been. Check it out...we are normal! Hehehe!

I know you meant "How young I said I was". Hehehe! 31 soon to be 32 is the new 21 soon to be 22! Hehehe!
I didn't have a problem with how Nature's Tears made my skin feel. It didn't feel sticky to me but, then again...I wear makeup so...that probably makes my skin feel differently.
