my neuro's had another mri done because they fill surgery will correct the seizures due to the fact i have been on 7 different meds and none are working. they have wanted to do surgery for a couple of years but my regular neuro wanted to control it with meds if he could . i have a very large venous angioma in the left temporal lobe that is causing all the probs . my questions to anyone that may have insight on { what is gliosis ? } and { what is microvascular disease } , also they said several hyperintensities were on the old mri's but there are new scattered { subcortical T2 hyperintensities ? } that were not on prior studdies .can someone please break this down in laymans terms for me . God Bless ,wishing you well .
