I'm looking for information that there has been documented cases that Hep C has been spread sexuly MAN to WOMEN?, I also would like to know what are the percentage of risk? Any Info will help.
Is HEP C transmitted through Semen? and if so does this mean there is millions infected this way? HIV infects one person every 5 seconds globally so what are the numbers on HEP C???

There is no question that hepatitis C is transmitted sexually. DNA testing has proven this. It has also been found that transmission risk is linked to the viral load in a male. The higher the viral load, the more the risk.
Actual risk in any encounter is the same as every other disease: zero or 100%. You either transmit it or you do not.
Now, the other part of the equation is the immune system of the female and whether the exposure results in seroconversion and how often. That, unfortunately, is the big unknown.
I hope this helps,

Thank You, I become very confused when THE CDC says low risk and it is not listed as a STD. What does low risk mean? Thanks
