I just had a baby 5 days ago, i had her early due to the starting of pre-eclampsia. After i had her they had me on Magnesium for 24 hrs and i ended up having a reaction to it. I went to the doctor yesterday and my blood pressure was 149/102 which is high for me it had been running 140/95 in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. In the beginning of my pregnancy it was fine at like 120/75 then kept going up, i am on a beta blocker (metoporlol) and have been for 5 yrs, i am just wondering that after my body gets back to normal since the baby if my blood pressure will even back out, and how worried should i get about it running 120-140/90-100?? I do see the little floaties in front of my eyes sometimes and get headaches and i get worried that im gonna have a stroke.
