Can the human body produce cholesterol even if we don't eat any cholesterol?

another way I can ask this question would be....

EXAMPLE: If people eat tons of carbohydrates and NO fat. The Carbs can convert to fat if they are not burned off.

Well, is there anything that converts to Cholesterol even if we do not eat cholesterol?

Fortunately, even if you managed to eliminate cholesterol from your diet, your liver will continue to manufacture it. I say fortunately because without cholesterol we would all die.

Even with no fat or cholesterol in our diets, the body can make all the cholesterol it needs and MORE!

Hi,
Your liver produces 80% of your (C), while your food intake is only responsible for approximately 20% of that substance.
