Hey! I've been reading this book on nutrition and it says that along w/ exercise and eating right, that protein can take away the "flab" on your body. Is that true? If so is there any low-fat protein resources? I'm not over-weight or anything... I just want some info! Thanx!

Hi Ocurt,

I have not read that before, at least not in any published journal nor in exercise physiology texts. The "flab" we carry is related to how we store the extra "fat" genetically. Now, as for a low-fat protein resource, there are quite a few. Look to low fat meats or legumes in general. One of my favorites is tuna, where a 3 oz serving provides about 19 g of protein.
