Can anyone help me? Does anyone else have these symptoms, and if so, will you please write me. Here are my symptoms.. Heavy left leg, below the knee to the foot. Spasm when getting up, where the leg will "jump". I can not control it, until it settles down. Feels like the leg is "frozen" at times, and weak, very weak. I have good days, and bad. If cold water is put on the leg, it will jump !!! No sensation on the skin when touched, feels very annoying. I had a Lumbar Laminectomy in 2003. Doctor says, this is nerve damage, because of the bone pushing on the nerve for so very long. He feels this will in time, regenerate and get better. But it may not get better 100%... DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE LEG NERVE DAMAGE OUT THERE. PLEASE WRITE, WOULD LIKE TO COMPARE NOTES...Thanks for listening. Janatee

I have leg nerve damage in my left leg. I am 35 yrs old and had a lumbar laminectomy with decompression at 30 yrs. I have osteoarthritis real bad in my family. I can relate to the pain. If I slightly touch my leg with the counter or car or anything I start crying because it hurts so much. There is nothing they can do, it is permanent. I have just had to learn to deal with it over the years.

Sorry, I'm sure this is not what you want to hear.

warpig, Thank you for your reply. Most of the symptoms I mentioned, do you also have?? I know you said you have pain, but do you have trouble walking first thing in morning, or when getting up from sitting. Stiff in the leg. Like it is really frozen for a few seconds then it will move. I have been trying to keep my chin up, as they say, and keep doing whatever I can. Its hard at times, I get down, have a good cry, then look forward to another day with hope. I guess we can never give up! I have learned to deal with this, and to do only what my body will let me do. Its hard, and I too feel your pain and sorrow. If you can give me any more direction on this, please write. Thank you. Janatee
