My son is 3 1/2. He is getting 1 hour in a small group (2 or 3) and 1 hour group. I was thinking of asking for more at his next IEP meeting. I'm really glad you started this topic because now I can see what other people are getting.

They have group therapy now? I think I have heard of that before. When I was young 20 years ago. I only had speech therapy once a week then my mom would work with me some during the rest of the week. My famiily says that speech therapy made a huge difference. Before I had speech therapy they couldn't hardly understand me

My son gets speech therapy on mondays, wednesdays and Fridays.1 hour per day. I know a lady who has a son who is autistic and he gets 5 days a week, but they went to court and sued before they got it. I dont know, I guess you could push for more...I told them at the IEP meeting, that I wanted 3x a week atleast. HE also gets group speech inside of his class, where the speech therapists uses a tv monitor to interact back and forth. I would probably push for the most I could get.
