I have a question and was wondering if anyone had an answer. I found a lump on my collar bone(well I thought it was on my collar bone) It turns out that its actually just under the collar bone, where the collar bone and breast bone meets in the middle of your chest. I think (dr also thinks) its a lymph node. It's hard, round and fixated. About the size of a pea. I have had pains in my shoulder and underarm( Swollen lymph nodes there also.) swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I started having breast and nipple pains four days ago(in both breasts). I have never experienced this before. I am 30 years old. I am due to start my period in a few days. Definately not pregnant. Should I be concerned? Thanks in advance = )

I am a breast cancer survivor (26 yrs old). It's my opinion that all lumps should be investigated. Request an ultrasound, (MRI and biopst if necessary) it could save your life.

Ditto. I had it last year (I'm 34). If I hadn't checked out the lump I found I would probably be in a lot worse shape than I am now. Most likely it's benign given your age, but you can never be too careful.

Thanks for your replys. I see the dr. on monday. So we'll see what he has to say. I did request a biopsy of this lump. He said thats a good possibilty. I do have a history of thyroid cancer.........this worries me a bit.
