Hi...
I am going back to doc on May 6 to have a repeat pap done. When I was phoned by the nurse...all she said was the pap came back with Atypical cells...not to worry, but a repeat pap is necessary. Is there anything I should know about from the first pap report??? Any #'s, counts...anything like that??? I want to be informed and knowledgable. I beleive knowledge alleviates fear..so I want to know everything that's going on with me...but I know nothing about pap's and the CIN thingys I've read about on this board. Thanx....

Hi again,
My previous post is a nevermind...lol. I took the advice of someone on another post and did a search for "dysplasia" and got an excellent overview of what it all means...and it was in "laymens terms". Decribed what Atypical means (probably nothing but we'll keep an eye on it) right thru the different stages of CIN's to invasive cancer. Thanks
