Hating glasses 02-02-2005, 09:40 AM Erik, In order to find out if you are elligible, you need to go to a Lasik Specialist. You can find out who to go to through your insurance provider. If at all possible, check and see if Lasikplus is in your area and see if they are covered under your insurance. They are nationwide to my knowledge and since I had my procedure done 2 weeks ago today, I can't say anything bad about them and can't seem to say enough good about them either! Anyway, a Lasik Specialist will give you an exam and determine your elligibility. The only thing that I can tell you for sure is that you have to be at least 21 (or 18). I think it is 21 because one's eyes change shape until that age. Good luck and remember that when looking for a doctor to perform you surgery, you get what you pay for. The more expensive, the better. Don't go for someone cheap or you may end up with worse vision than you did going into it. jurry 02-02-2005, 09:48 AM Thanks. I will look into what is covered by my insurance. I would really like to get this done. hopefully, I'll find a way. |
