I need help! I feel weird in my head. My head will sometimes feel like it is itching, tingling, or tickling on the inside. Mostly on the left side, sometimes on top/. It really freaks me out and sometimes I feel like I am going crazy if the feeling wont stop. Lorazepam seems to help me with the feeling. Could this be associated with OCD? I was diagnosed 11 yrs ago with OCD/Anxiety/PD. I have been stressed out lately, and I was sick with brochitis and a sinus infection. PRednisone was prescribed (whichi is when this all started ) and also biaxin, then augmentin. My DOC says that the feelings are not related to my sinus draining as I thought maybe this is what I was feeling. Please help me, am I making myself sick?

I read that tactile hallucinations can take the form of intence itching, but they are not symptoms of odc (thats I'm aware of)... you could always ask another doctor for a second oppinion

Years ago I got a sinus infection and was taking prozac at the same time.
which caused me to have a couple of seizures The doctors felt was due
to the combination of the prozac and the sinus infection causing pressure on
my brain.
Common sense tells me the itching and tingling could very well be presure. Doctors are often so busy they forget each of us are different and they dont have time to use
common sense.
Have you tried a decongestant the nasal spray works well but if you do use
it go three days on and three days off otherwise you get a rebound effect.
No doctors are perfect so if you like your doctor stay with him/her otherwise
try someone new. Good Luck, K
