I am going in for my LEEP tomorrow morning. I was wondering if anyone knew if you can take a bath during the healing process? I love my baths!!!...and I know that you can have sex, use tampons, douche (I don't do that anyways...) but I was wondering if sitting in water would have the same effect as douching so that would mean that I can't??? Ugh, I am just wondering if anyone knows. Also, if anyone can calm me down about this procedure, I'd appreciate it http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif Thanks!

I had my Leep almost 3 weeks ago. My doctor told me to wait a week to take a tub bath. So that is what I did and i have been fine. good luck tomorrow

Thanks for the info! I'm going in in a couple of hours. I'm so nervous! You said it's been 3 weeks now? How are you feeling? How is the recovery going? How is the discharge...is it heavy and a horrible odor? I'm just wondering and trying to figure out what to expect! Did you get your results back yet? The information I found only said not to take baths til your doc said it's ok. My doc only said to me no sex for a month. I had a LEEP. But to be safe than sorry, I'll be waiting at least a month for a tub too. Only showers til July! (My LEEP was June 5)
