I am booked in to get my frenulum cut in a few weeks time and am worried if I am doing the right thing. it is definitely too short/tight and I doubt it can be stretched (have read the info on this board re stretching) Are there different ways that the surgery is carried out or is there just one procedure. The doc says he will actually be removing some tissue and then stitching,I thought one snip and stitching would be the way to go.When I asked him if he had performed the procedure before he responded "Yes, I would hope so" It sounded like he deflected the question so I am not entirely filled with confidence

Thanks, I will get a second opinion. I have searched the net but cannot find out much about frenoplasty, I would like more knowledge so I can make the best decision. Can anyone give me any address links regarding this subject especially anything on where incisions are made, at what angle etc and how it is stitched back up
