Sorry about that, let me try to give the info again..

New research has linked autism to brain inflammation.compaired to normal controlled brains, people with autism were found to contain abnormal patterns of immune system proteins called cytokines and chemokines consistent with inflammation around the brain and spinal cord. There is a connection between the immune system and the brain that is linked to autism, cells travelling to the brain from the immune system that might be trying to fight off another disease causing inflammation. New treatments are now being considered with the research to treat autism..there are many sites on the web...this was information given on the date of Nov 15, 2004
