Hi I am new to the site, and was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to get pregnant after having the leep procdure done, and about how long it takes to get pregnant afterwards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Melissa - I had a LEEP done 6 years ago. I was told to refrain from any type of sexual activity for about 3-4 months after. I conceived twice (Oct. 2002 and March 2003) unfortunately miscarried both times. It is def. possible to get pregnant after a LEEP. I wouldn't suggest doing it right away though (def. not) wait at least 1 year +. You want to make sure you get a few good paps before conceiving. This is just my advice. I'll be trying again soon and I'll keep you posted on my status.
