I need reading glasses to read newspapers, computer screen, also to do anything where I need to look closely at something. I can still see far away things perfectly. If I try to read very small print I have to use reading glasses and a magnifying glass just to read (say like a small pill bottle). I would like some input as to what i should have done. thanks in advance

Kuby,
I suggest you go ask a Lasik Doctor. They might suggest the Monovision procedure. You can read up on it by typing in "monovision" into your web browser...try Google. I can't be sure that is what they would suggest you go with but, from what I read when I was teaching myself about Lasik before my procedure, that seems to be what they suggest for patients with your vision. I might be wrong so, please, don't take my word for it. Only a Lasik doctor could tell you for sure. Go get the exam from a Lasik doctor/specialist. Try www.lasikplus.com and see if they have an office in your area. They did my procedure and, since I can't say enough good about them, they are who I recommend. They are nationwide to my knowledge and their doctors are awesome!

Good luck!
