Hello Everyone,
I just had my LEEP procedure one week ago. Like a lot of people here , I didn't think that it was that big of a deal. I was wondering if anyone else noticed that intercourse was painful prior to being diagnosed with Dysplasia? For many years, I told my doctors that intercourse was painful (I would also bleed afterwards) but they always dismissed it. I have always had abnormal paps and when they would do a biopsy, those would come back fine. I always felt like I was supposed to just live with painful intercourse. I think women have a real sense when something isn't right, regardless of what the lab results are. When I was finally diagnosed with CIN III, I almost felt a sense of relief, hoping that having the LEEP done would take care of the painful intercourse. Has anyone here had pain during intercourse? If so, did the LEEP fix that problem? Thanks for your help.
