For as long as I can remember I can, for lack of a better term, "activate" this noise in my head. It seems like flexing some internal muscle in my head. It sounds like a strong wind but it is coming from inside my head. I can feel it like it is inside my brain. I can "hear" it and feel it. It does not cause me pain nor discomfort. I just thought someone may be able to tell me what it is. I am curious.
Thank you.

I dunno, that's pretty weird. Maybe something having to do with your inner ear fluid? I'd recommend asking your doctor about it. Then post the results because I'm curious too. :)

I can relate to that, I have that problem sometimes. My ears are always stuffy and making strange noises and i feel like there's a strong wind noise in my head too. My dad told me it's probbably a ear drainage.

Hey, I think I know what you're talking about. I just tried it and I can do it too. It's like a clicking, sort of. Heh. Maybe it's normal.

Wind noises within the head is sometimes referred to as tinnitus. It's more prevalent when you have a cold.
The clicking noise is usually associated with the semi-circular canals (related to balance) or the cochlea.
Sometimes people have referred the clicking noise in a more descriptive way: similar to that of a ship communicator using a clicking machine to send a message using the morse code.
Any of that familiar to you? Have you ever had an issue with your balance, eg vertigo or dizziness for a few days? Hearing affected in any way?

No it doesn't sound familiar. It sounds more like a strong blowing wind. I can increase the amplitude when I "concentrate" harder but the frequency of the noise remains the same. It does not seem to affect my balance nor my hearing. It does not hurt but when I "activate" it I have noticed that it sometimes causes me to yawn. It's really strange.
