Today (Saturday the 5th) is the day that AF is supposed to start. It usually doesn't come until the afternoon or evening. I had a temperature drop this morning :( so I'm pretty certain AF is on its way. Although...it is almost midnight and it still hasn't shown up. But it could easily come tomorrow.

So I went online and purchased 100 opks for $26 and an ovulation scope for $13!! I wasn't planning on really using opks anymore because they get too costly, but this was a great deal to buy in bulk!! So anyhow, right after I bought them I thought...gee...maybe I should have waited a couple of days just to make certain that AF is for sure coming. Ha! Wouldn't that be funny?!

Anyhow, so the main thing I am tring to share is that my temp dropped and AF should be here any minute. I'll let you all know if it shows up for sure. By the looks of my chart it will.

Well...AF definitely showed up this morning. Maybe this will be my month - I will be using 3 ovulation detection methods plus the Robutussin...so we'll see!!

As the saying goes 'if at first we dont sucseed, try, try, try again' and i believe thats what we are all doing this month, we are with you through this, we all want the same thing. Good luck and tons of baby dust being sent your way ;)

Sorry to hear AF showed up. I am in the same situation as you - I chart both for temps and cervical mucus, I do the microscope thing, and now i am doing the ovulation testing too. I am starting to feel like a science expeirment. good luck

Ha! I know what you mean about feeling like a science experiment! I told DH that I hope I don't get too sick of this ttc thing since I am going to be doing so much. I will be doing:

OPKs (bought very very cheap online)
Saliva ovulation scope
Robitussin for better cm
Checking cm (but not a whole lot because robitussin will make me have tons all the time)
Temping and charting

The only thing I am not really doing is chceking my cervical position. It is sosrt of a hassle and is too hard for me to figure out the differences. I can tell when it is high and when it is soft. But I cannot tell when it is open.

So basically...the Ovulation Scope should tell me when I am "transitioning" - so like when I am 3 or 4 days before ovulation. The OPKs should tell me when I am 24-36hrs away from ovulation. And temping should tell me when I have Oed. So hopefully I woll have it covered. Although we have been having really good timing. So...I dunno?? But I see my obgyn on Feb. 14 to look at my charts (yeah, Happy Valentine's day to me).

What CD are you on?

Sorry Laura, I think you are definately covering your bases...it's only a matter of time now....you know whats funny?...the month I bought my ovulation scope I got pregnant before I even received it! Hopefully you'll get lucky this month too...I ended up selling mine to a friend of mine and she called me when she saw the ferns so she said it definately works and she thanked me for getting it for her. LOL Goodluck Hun. I really hope you see some BFP's soon.

Yeah we should pretty much have all the bases covered! I am about 2-3 dpo. So the wait is on. The 2ww is the worst. Drags on forever and it seems like you begin to imagine symptoms in hopes. Oh well...that's all part of life. Good luck at your appointment. Hopefully all with be well and it is just a matter of timing.

Laura,

You and I met AF the same day! I am sorry for both of us this month. I laid in bed with nasty cramps all day long yesterday.
Hopefully we will have better luck next month.
