After seeing that show the other night my husband insisted on buying one of these things for our son. Anybody else have one?? If so, does it irritate your childs wrist or anything??

Im not sure what a GPS locator is...unless its something that I heard of on the news for Alzheimers patients...like a monitor or alarm type thing?

We have looked into all sorts of alarms and locators to attach to our son. we worry if it attaches to his clothes and he strips the device would be useless. We tried practing with a watch and at least for now My son will not tolerate any thing on his wrist or ankle. He stands a good chance of doing alot of harm to himself tring to get it off. So for now we have put off getting something.

GPS Global Positioning Satellite, like those navigational systems in cars, only for a child, it looks like a watch, it's connected to a satellite so if your child is ever lost, they can be found. My son deals with a medic alert bracelet, so I'm guessing this shouldn't be too much more difficlut than that. Since my child is non-verbal, my husband thought it best to at least have one.

I have been thinking about one of those watches more and more. I doubt DD would wear it, she has sensory issues and would probablt scratch at it. I watch her like a hawk, she doens't really talk to people and would have a hard time getting out her name. She does know her name, and can even spell it now, but who knows what she would do if she were lost. She will take off, so I have to be careful when taking her places.
