Hi everyone.
I'm feeling really nervous. I'm going to be getting the results of all the horrible tests they've been doing on me tomorrow. I've had a CT, MRI, blood tests, Bone Marrow biopsies & further pathology tests on the removed Lymph nodes.
I will finally know what stage i am & exactly when i will be starting my treatment. I will be having ABVD for 8 months, they would like to start this on tuesday but i'll know more tomorrow.
Has anyone out there already had ABVD chemo? If so what is it like? They've told me i will lose all my hair within a couple of weeks and will get very tired.

HI...I am sorry you are going through all of this. I have been receiving ABVD for 4 months so far, 4 more treatments to go. Overall it is not so bad. Remember to chew ice while you get the red stuff (A) as this will prevent mouth sores. Also ask for anti-nausea meds in your IV before your chemo. It is not so bad. I have been extrememly fatigued, but I have not lost all of my hair yet, and I just had my 8th treatment.
Hang in there. A great resource for message boards is http://forums.webmagic.com/ubbthreads/postlist.php?Cat=&Board=UBB1
