I have viteous floater in both eyes.
White flashes in the dark on the side of eyes
Circle of white light in the daylight and light gray circle in dim light
In both eyes I have had flashes of bright colored lights that lasted about 5 minutes
In my right eye last week I got out of bed in a hurry looked at bright light I seen like my whole eye in color then fade slowly
Last night after closing my eyes for a minute like a small blue light
Has anyone had colored flashes?

I also have floaters in both eyes. Once in a while I will see a bright white light lasting for several minutes in one or both eyes. I think it is the start of a migraine for me.
At other times, my peripheral vision in one eye (maybe both, but not at the same time) will totally go out for maybe 30 minutes and then a migraine headache will usually start.

I get blue flashes many times. I asked the eyedoctor about it last time I was there (I'm there so much I feel I'm a personal friend of his! HA!) Anyway, I asked him about blue flashes and he said, "Sure, flashes could be ANY color actually" I have a friend that gets blue flashes too and she doesn't have ANY eye problems. She always blames it on PMS! It's like a very pretty "electric" blue spot that appears and disappears slowly, not a real quick "flash!"

I have been seeing colors (blue, orange, neon purple, black) since Oct/Nov. They occur in my periphery usually. They are very quick- less than a couple of seconds and typically round or rectangle. I am having an MRI on Saturday- as my doctor said they are not normal. They are not floaters...they don't move and floates rarely if ever, occur in colors.

I too have floaters... and these color flashes are different. I've also had them; i watched out of the corner of my right eye what looked similar to the flashing/running lights at a theater. The longest was about 5 minutes. When at my yearly eye appt. I asked about it. Turns out, I should have gone right to the opthamologist as these flashes may signal possible retinal detachment which could possibly cause blindness.
It was nothing in my case and hasn't happened since, but should be checked out. I've also found that these flashes often preceed migraines.
Best of luck. I'm sure it will turn out to be 'nothing' but you really should be sure.
