Hi, I am posting here becuase I thought someone here might have some experience here.

I have a lump inside the back lip of my vagina. Do not be confused, it is not an exterior lump, it is inside.

I discovered the lump a couple of weeks ago while taking a shower. (I immediately made and appt. with my OBGYN...Wed Oct 22nd at 10:30am)

Since then I believe it is growing, it is hard, big maybe the size of a ping pong ball, it does move, doesn't hurt, but I do feel "pressure" inside my vagina & lower area.

Could it be a gland or something? Anyone ever have something like this?

Several times for some reason with an ex boyfriend after we had a particularly rough night of sex a few days later I'd find more... gobbstopper (the candy?) sized lumps (just one at a time) just above or to the left of my clitorous.

Finally after many instances I asked my doctor and he told me sometimes liquid just builds up and you get a small cist that will leak back out. It's not uncommon from the sound of it - but Ping pong ball sized sounds pretty large.... Mine - I could kind of press on and it'd hurt but I could tell there was liquid. They were slightly painful but would go away after about a week.

I don't know if any of this will help - but that's the closest I've seen/experienced/heard in regard to your post.

Mine is near the back of the lip and it is hard. It is not on the surface but inside.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I will have to be on pins and needles until my appt. on Wed.
