Hello, i noticed after about a week ago after eating a rather large meal that the left side of my upper stomach felt and looked more bloated than the other side, i could get my fingers underneath the right side of my ribs but not under the left side then or a few days after, when i tense the muscle the left side feels harder than the right, and when i have prodded around a bit, the left side hurts but the right side doesnt at all. What i have also noticed is that when i tense my stomach the left side raises more so than the right side like my stomach is full on the left side but not the right, im rather worried about this and not sure what it is, im 16 years old and im slim.
Can someone help me please, i would be grateful if someone could give a useful response!

I have also had an operation in the last year to get rid of varicose veins that dropped into my testicals and made my stomach hurt, the operation did not work fully, mybe the veins are bunching up underneath the skin below my rib?
I have lost a stone in weight too recently and that could be the reason, not exactly sure though, any more thoughts will be great!
I told my father and he said its nothing(but he never listens to me so because he thinks i over-react...))

Need more replies, sometimes now its like a dull pain in my life side, and its like the skin on the left hand side is more grisly on the left side, need help cant understand it, it cant be too serious, but best be safe than sorry, because having a full stomach on the left and not the right after eating cant be too good!

your stomach is physically situated on your left side so any bloatedness will be more pronounced on that side.

How long ago was your surgery to fix the varicoel and how did it "not work fully?" Did you follow-up with the urologist after the surgery? If it was me, I would make an appointment as soon as possible

Well basically i had the surgery about two years ago, it worked for a couple of months then came back, but not as bad as it was before, sometimes i feel a little bit of veins in my strotum and when i run sometimes it hurts, or when i wear tight trowsers, im not sure whether it has any relevance to this stomach pain im having, it feels like a dull achy pain and one side protudes further than the other!

I woke up this morning with a really painful stomach, it was an acidic kind of pain, like when you get wind, but worse!
