I have been somewhat diagnosed with CFS and need to see a Dr that knows something about it. I live in upstate SC and would be willing to drive to Charlotte or Atlanta.

If anyone knows of any Doc in this area please let me know.

Thanks

Derek

Hi, I keep checking your post to see if anyone knows of a CFS Dr. in SC. Because I, too, would like to know. I live in SC. When I describe my symptoms to all the referring Dr.s my Dr. has sent me to; it is responded to as if I had said, "I think I might have stumped my toe last week".....There are many of us out here. If I do find someone I'll sure pass it on. By the way this same website under "Lymes Disease", may be of interest to you. There are MANY similarities in the symptoms. I was recently told that to get a true test for that you have to go to some town in NC.....There is a "Guaifenesin" protocol that have area groups who meet all over the country though. just type it in a search engine....Good Luck.

I am still checking to see if anyone answered you....There may not be anyone....Try asking it on the Fibromyalgia Section of this site.....because you know they are very similar and some people think the same. Thanks, Tammy

Im in SC too..Cola. I went to yet another Dr. this morning...a DO which I thought were supposed to be a little more inquisitive and thorough and I got slammed in and rushed out like I was picking up a McChicken. Im at my wits end here with these freak symptoms and just want to be heard and told ..'yeah..ya know, we need to look into this..or maybe that'. No 'It must be difficult for you now and we are going to get to the bottom of this no matter what'. I honestly dont know if I want to live like this anymore.

I'm sorry Moderator 2. Willkula I didn't say anything bad...I asked if we could email each other and that's not allowed. I understand. If I find a Dr. here, I'll sure post it.

Derek,
I think I found an answer for you dude. Go under the Fibromyalgia Board and look at the replies to the question "Lyme Disease and Fibro?", read the posts. Also, look up the Jemseng Clinic in NC. Good Luck

Hey I am back,
I have been temp. disconnected from the web. Thanks for responding. I do have an appt. with Dr. Jemsek in Huntersville NC soon. I hope he can find the problem weather it is truly cfs/fibro or lymes.

I know this sounds bad but I am glad that I am not the only one in SC who is dealing with this crap! If you live in the upstate and you need a good GP I would recomend Dr. Gilroy at New Horizons FHS. She has good experiance after dealing with me for more than a year.

Keep in touch
Derek
