Hey, it's me again with another weird symptom.

I have been feeling, or seeing everything as if it were not real during the past month. It's something I've had every day since the begining of this year. I can think straight, don't feel tired, and see well, but have a constant vision of "unreality". I have had eye checks, blood tests and even XRAYS and nothing out of the normal seems to be showing up.

Then two weeks ago, out of the blue, I woke up with darker circles under my eyes, as if I were really tired, but had actually slept very well.

Has anyone had similar experiences.

P.S I'm quite sure this has nothing to do with my testical lump, which I actually know now that it's not a tumor.

CRLD. Thanks.

I know that antihistimines can make me feel what you're describing. It's kind of creepy. Have you had your blood sugar tested? And what about inner ear problems or sinus problems? I suppose it can always be one of those unexplained things we all have from time to time. Hope it goes away soon!!

could be stress (anxiety).

Definately a side effect of anxiety. They call it something like derealizatioN?? I use to always feel like this. Kind of like everything is a dream and I'm watching. It is VERY odd to explain, but I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Just wanted to put in my opinion when I saw your thread. :D

Have you been stressed about anything at all or are you on any med's for anything??

this sounds like derealization/depersonalization disorder which i have, it is characterised as a dissociation disorder. I had it for a year now.

I experienced those same symptoms many years ago...turned out I had a severely hyperactive thyroid, which can make you feel feel spacy, disjointed and kind of separated from reality, but hard to explain. the dark circles can be a symptom of grave's disease, a thyroid disorder.

Good luck.
