i have had the folowing pain for months in my shoulder whch goes down to my elbow i cannot move on a morning and my arm feels like its aslleep it takes a good 2 hours toget some movement
i cannot lift my arm at all above my head or reach behind i also am getting pain in my back around my ribcage which is so painfull when breathing which last 2 days at a timeand i suffer constant headaches any one got any ideas :yawn:

The arm pain sounds like some sort of bursitis. Definately see a doctor, who can properly diagnose you, and prescribe physicial therapy. You don't want your shoulder and arm to "freeze" that way, as it might without therapy.

I agree with GLSheridan that you should see a doctor (see an orthopedist) as soon as possible. The tendons, ligaments, muscles, nerves etc of the shoulder and arm are complicated and you need a professional exam and diagnosis. You may have some kind of tendonitis or suffered an injury to the nerve(s) that innervate those areas (could be coming from your neck as well).
Since your range of motion is compromised, don't wait much longer. The sooner you find out what's going in, the sooner you'll be on your way to recovery! As GL said, you don't want a completely frozen shoulder, which I had once and even with physical therapy it took months to feel okay again!
