I feel very helpless .Someone I am very fond of is being treated for stage 3 colon cancer which may have spread to his brain too.help! :(

Sometimes we don't know what to say, but love and attention speak louder than words. Just be there for them, even if it's just a shoulder to cry on. And of course if you are in a position to be pro-active, i.e. live nearby, you can do little things like errands, or cooking. Always keep up a good sense of humor.
