Hi, as everyone seems to have given up on my last past, i need to start up a new one, i really need some answers because i really dont want to go to the doctors!

My stomach on the left side is swolen and looks like its puffed out compared to the right side, i woke up yesterday morning with an acidic pain in my chest and stomach which was quite unbearable, i noticed the left side sticking out after i ate a rather large curry, lamb korma and rice with various other things!
Since then its been there constantly, when i saw it first i thought it was just the meal and left it, but i noticed it again a few days ago and from then it has got worse and worse. As soon as i finished the meal i was VERY and i mean VERY uncomfortable, usually if you eat a large meal you feel very full, but it wasnt like that, it was about 100x worse than that, it was like i had been stabbed in the stomach,

Please any answers will be greatly appreciated!

You could and I mean could, possibly have pancreatitis? It is quite a painful experience. My son had this and one of his real big symptoms was when he ate,his pain increased. The fact that you actually have some sort of a swelling in the area over the panreas and spleen would lead one to believe that this is a good possiblity.or you could be having a problem with the spleen as well.I think you are going to have to break down and actually see a doc here, and soon. These possible problems are nothing to mess with. You need to find out what is causing these symptoms so it can be treated. You may need a round of IV antibiotics to actually 'cure" or control this.please don't wait any longer to get this Dxed. You could be making things much worse and harder to eventually treat by waiting to actually see a doc.good luck,Marcia

If you are that uncomfortable, you really should go see a Dr. No one on here can diagnose you, only a Dr can do that. And since it's so painful, as you say, you really really should go get it checked.

I'd certainly get this checked out. Did you do any heavy lifting or anything the day that this happened? If you have acid have you tried taking anti-acid relievers, such as Gaviscon for example. I think though if you give it time, and you go to the doctors it should ease.

What other symptoms do you have?
