I didn't realize how terrible of a journey this whole process is. I feel like I'm being toyed with by my own body. All last week, my husband and I were CONVINCED I was pregnant. I bought him a card and everything that I have hidden that I was going to give to him when I got a positive pregnancy test. Well, last night I got my period. I was completely, completely devastated. I can't tell you how convincing my symptoms were. I have never in my life had nosebleeds and then for the past two weeks, every time I'd blow my nose, it would bleed. My gums were bleeding when I flossed. This was the most convincing thing for me because I've been flossing since I was like 10 and never bleed (both are symptoms of early pregnancy). My boobs were killing me and mine normally don't hurt before my period, so I instantly thought I was pregnant. Anyway, one thing I'm confused about. My temperature still hasn't dropped. I'm sick and have been for a week, so I think that's it. Just another thing that was toying with me - I was so excited that my temp hadn't dropped yet. Anyway, thanks so much for all of the support. I think we are going to take a few months off trying to conceive. I cried myself to sleep last night and am just a mess today. I'm so sad! I pray you all get BFPs soon and baby dust to you all.

I am so sorry,,,,but hang in there! :bouncing:
But I am curious - You said nose bleeds and bleeding gums are an early sign of pregnancy. I have never heard of this.

I know where you are coming from, it is sooooooooooo upsetting when you get bfn, i cried for nearly a whole day when i found out.
If you take time out you may find your body relaxes and you get a bfp because you are not stressing. I have been told that the key to ttc is relaxation, easier said than done i know!
Keep us updated and i hope you will still drop in.
Again i am so sorry af came, good luck xxx

But I am curious - You said nose bleeds and bleeding gums are an early sign of pregnancy. I have never heard of this. Yes bleeding gums do happen during pregnancy. My gums are a disaster area. I've been told it's pretty common though. Increased progesterone and estrogen levels and changes in your blood vessels can cause the gums to react differently to the bacteria in plaque, resulting in swollen tender gums that may bleed when you floss or brush.
