Hello, I have been diagnosed with IBS . I know I have talked about this in some detail in time past but am not really sure if I have posted here with concerns.
however, I had colonoscopy done nov,1 this year which gastro. says I have IBS and hiatal hernia. I was prescribed zelnorm which cramps me severly, and IF i can make it in time i have severe diarreah. mostly ( mucus or white foamy substance?) sorry so detailed by I feel its necessary to give all detail if I want answers. okay so I cant take the stuff and continue on with symptoms.
now, the problems I am facing and have been before facing is: I go from 3-7+
days with no b.m. then I have one BUT it is only a little amount not hard, only thin and not well formed. kinda disentergrates in the toilet (hope that explains well enough. hard to describe) okay, I get this full up feeling in my upper abs. and my throat to the point i cant eat and feel nauseated.
I bloat and have gas badly and growling stomach sometimes not always.
one thig that REALLY SCARES ME IM GETTING SO WEAK WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING THAT MY HANDS TREMBLE AND I FEEL LIGHT HEADED AS IF YOU HAD A VIRUS AND WERE SO DRAINED WEAK TREMBLY THAT IT AFFECTED YOUR ABILITY TO FUNCTION OR At least with out acting foolish. and i feel veryl light headed my eyes feel weird. I do suffer anxiety attacks but THIS IS NOT WHATS HAPPENING i can bend over to put clothes in the dryer and its not smooth bend its more so rigid? and trembly ?
what could possibly be happening? dr. calls my prob. constapation but its never hard nor does it hurt, it just doesnt happen and its soft ever almost diarreahl when it does and i hurt in my stomache cramps and nearly faint it is very scary. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME? SOMEONE HELP ME OUT!

I'm sorry to hear about your suffering. It seems the longer I read on this site, the more horrendous and unpleasant the descriptions become!

I also have severe gastrointestinal problems, that NO ONE can figure out. Doctors don't seem to be able to prevent anything or really help you, they just prescribe all sorts of drugs to try to make you feel better, without getting to the reason WHY you hurt in the first place.

If your gastro has already performed his slew of tests and they all come back negative, that's a good thing. You don't have anything physically wrong. Now you can move on to someone who can really help you. Pay a visit to a naturopathic doctor. She will be able to develop an enzyme/probiotic/elimination diet regimen suited to your particular needs. And I guarantee you will feel better, AND figure out what is wrong.
