My Dr is going to put me on ACTOS because I was having loose bowels from Metformin.
MY QUESTION---Does this give also give you loose bowels---DR says no.

What has been your side effects from ACTOS> THANKYOU

The loose bowels does get better the longer you are on metformin. Actos makes your cells more sensitive to insulin. I take both of these drugs. I can only take the 30mg tab of Actos and not the 45mg or I experience shortness of breath. I think all of the diabetes drugs have side effects, some more than others. We have to put up with these side effects to keep our blood sugars low. Kat
