Hi  I have been sick since last Thursday, I am still able to do my normal daily activities like work, haning out and classes, but I feel too tired and achey to go to the gym so I have yet to go since las Wednesday and now it is Tuesday, I am debating if I should go tonight or wait till tomarrow night to go again. I usually go about 5 times a week and now feel horrible for not going for about a whole week. Is this going to effect my diet I have never missed this many days for months....

I used to try to work out when I was ill or injured, but it really seemed to make me feel worse, and I ended up spending more time sedentary the rest of the day. So now, I have two exercise routines, one for when I feel great, and one for one I'm sick or achy. The second one is easier than the first, but it keeps me in my routine and prevents me from getting injured when I am able to return to my usual workout. :)

I agree, I have been sick too, and havn't been able to go to the gym since Saturday. I too, don't like to miss more than 2 day in a row. But as I was contimplating weather or not to go last night, I am glad I rested. Today, I have more energy, and I am not dreading going. I am excited to work out tonight. If you have worked out constantly before, I think a week off will do not harm. Rest your body up, that way you can go at it 100% next time! If you try to go when you are sick, your energy level will just get worse. It's okay to rest!
