i have had this freckle on the back of my arm for about 3 years maybe longer thats when i first noticed it. it is so tiny that i'm not sure if you could even measure it. maybe 1/16 of the size of a pencil eraser. my concern comes from the color of it. its dark brown almost black but hasnt changed at all. the rest of my freckles are light to med brown. its the only one that is that dark. its also ever so slightly raised you can only feel it. please let me know if i should get it checked out. thank you.

you know what? Only you can decide. We are not doctors just fellow patients. If I had something that even remotely gave me the cause of alarm I would def get it checked out. Other folks just do the wait and see. That is fine for them, they are checking. If something that came up, stayed the same, then suddenly changed...I would go a running.
If you were told "naw don't bother", by someone here that would be very very wrong of us. So I say..... when in doubt get it checked out by a professional.
And if it does end up being nothing (or something) at least you will know you did what you should have done.

Hi all and please check my post in "mole down South" (my response in that thread) Right now I'm too lazy to type all that over-though I think I'm going to later. My main premise is NOT to use SHAVE technique--doctors may disagree. Get the thang out in one piece. Please see my other post in this forum.
