Lesions can appear and disappear most certainly. Is it possible for you to change doctors? I would advise this, a compentent doctor would know lesions are not permanant.

Well, lesions aren't supposed to disappear, but they can to a certain extend. None of mine have ever disappeared, but they tend to get smaller or bigger over time. Do you have a neurologist who is specialised in MS? It's important because most doctors and even neurologists don't know much about it.
A good number of MS symptoms are very similar to symptoms of psychosomatic disorders, which is why some doctors will tell you that it's just stress. Terribly insulting, isn't it?
Anyway, I agree with Sunshine, try to find yourself a doctor who knows a lot about MS and whom you trust. You can't have control over your MS, but you can have control over the person who's taking care of your MS!
