Hi. I am hoping somewhere here will be able to help me. My boyfriend of almost a year recently got health/dental insurance back. He had braces when he was a kid so his teeth are nice and straight, but when they were removing them, they broke his two front teeth. The dentist then replaced the broken portion, but now there is a line in the middle of his two front teeth where you can see the replacement. Over the years I assume it's gotten worse. Now the line is orange, and there are black spots all around it, spanning between 3 teeth. I am really concerned for him, not only for it's cosmetic looks, but because it will only get worse as time goes on. Now that he has insurance I want to suggest to him that he should consider getting them fixed/capped. I really dont want to sound rude, I just dont want to see any serious problems come out of it (if there arent any already). I know it's been awhile since he has even had a cleaning, so I can imagine there are already some issues that need to be corrected. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Say you love him and want him to be the best he can be. He may not have noticed how things have changed over time, and I'm guessing if there's a crack, then at some point it's going to become very painful. You'd hate to see him get to that point and want to spare him some pain.

How's that?
