I came on here before from an enlarged lymph node back of my neck and after antibiotics it did go down. It is still there and the dr. pretty much forced me to go to the surgeon and did she said it was a sabacious cyst and it would do that and be painful, mine was not painful at all. I have noticed although it went down now i have several back of my neck then it went to my underarms and now my groin. I dont' feel sick at all and by the way this has been months ago now. I am to embarrassed to go back and really about to embarrassed to say something here. The only thing in mylife that is going on and please do not preach I know it isn't good is smoking cigs and i have an eating disorder. Other then that no sickness.. I am not bone thin I am jsut medically where i should be. It is like these things are and keep popping up. I know you are not drs. i guess i want to hear well since you have already been to a surgeon and she didn't seem concerned then i wouldn't worry aobut it and that is what i keep telling myself since they do move they are hard and they are not big. I don't know size i knew my one that i went for last time was like 2 cm. it was huge but it didn't ever hurt.. do you think these are reactive lymph. i did have two when i went to the surgeon that popped up after the antibiotics and she seemed to think those were and i agreed considering it was close to the others but that has been months ago now and they are popping up everywhere. from back of my neck, close to collar bone, underarms, and now the groin. i would think if it was that and since that one has gotten better then this wouldn't be happening now. I don't know, what do ya'll think.. I don't have insurance and don't qualify for assistance but don't have money to go to the dr. last time it ended up costing a little over $500.00 that i really didn't have and it put us in a bad spot. I hope ya'll understand why i have came here first now.. instead of going back to the drs.

If those cysts are popping up every where, you may have a bacterial infection. This is not serious as long as it does not get into the blood stream, Then you have more problems than financial ones. Make sure you try to get to a doctor if this gets any worse.

you are right.. we are closing on a house within a week and then i will make an appt. I am sure one week isn't going to make a difference after this been going on now for a few months. They didn't all come at the same time they are just slowly coming.. You are right.. I know that.

Hi Wish,
Marimac gave you good advice. I just wanted to add that you should
never feel embarrassed about asking for help from your doctors and if they make you feel bad, find new ones. I know that is not as easy without insurance, but prior to getting the insurance I have now, I was lucky enough to find a great health practioner through a friend. There are good doctors out there who follow the oath that they signed, "first do no harm" regardless if a patient has health coverage or not and their primary goal is to make you feel better. Generalized lymphadenapothy can be reactive based, but the possibility of lymphoma is there and the faster you get the proper dx, the better it will be for you. Lymphoma is actually the slowest diagnosed cancer with an average time from onset to diagnosis being a year to 14 months. Doctors hesitate to biopsy, watch and wait and give antibiotics. You know your body better than they do, if you feel something is wrong, press on until you get answers. As you know, smoking is not a wise thing to do, but believe it or not, one person can smoke for 40 years and get no cancer and another can smoke for 5 and come down with it. Some people are simply more susceptible to cancer than others.

I know exactly what you are saying.. I did leave out some info. just about everyone in my family has had cancer.. The dr. i went to before also thought it was lymphoma but the surgeon said no. no tests were done i just went by her expertise as this is what she does for a living.. she sounded very confident.. the only thing i don't get is why start getting them while i was on antibiotics.. only a dr. can tell.

thank you everyone..
