af still hasnt showed, i dont feel different other than a dull and constant back ache thats been going on for about 2 weeks and also some breast tenderness. yesterday devistated me, to say the least. i feel better today, but there are really absolutely no signs of af. i've been having a lot of cm in the past week to, nothing really abnormal about it except the amount, one time i thought there might be a little yellow tinge to it, but it didnt have an odor or anything so i didnt think much of it, it's been clear for the most part (so sorry if that was tmi).
i really dont know whats goin on. i dont know when to make a doctors appointment. should i was a week or two more? should i retest? you would think that 2 weeks after the due date of your period would be sufficent amount of time for your body to make enough hcg to register, right?
i dont know if dh will let me test again anytime soon, he says im addicted to it lol. oh well, good luck to you all

you really should see your dr....they will do a pg test....if you are not pg...they will put you on Provera..to jump start your period. You take the pills for 10 days and sometime within the first 3 weeks, you will have a period. i have been through this twice in the last year.

Try and get an appointment with your doctor asap and get a blood test done, this way if it comes back neg he can help re start your cycle by presc meds etc. Good luck and keep us posted :)

what is provera? is it a birth control? what does it do to start my period? sorry for so many questions.

Provera is not birth control...all I can tell you is that it helps your period to start. The way they tell me to do it is....take 1 a day (there are 10 pills)---if you start before the 8th day....discontinue them...if you start on the 8th day or after....finish them anyway.....or it can take up to 3 weeks for your period to start. The first time I took them, my period started 3 days after taking them...and I had already gone 40 something days without a period. The second time, I started AF on the 8th day of taking them. The only thing I can tell you is to do a search on the drug "Provera"..that will better explain what it is and what it does. Sorry I cant be of more help...but all I really know is that it is a drug to jump start your period.

thank you, i will look into more info on this. this is all so very frustrating, you would think that making a baby would be so simple... you never even think of something happening when you make that wonderful decision to start trying, atleast i didnt think so. my mom never had probs getting pregnant, my sis never had problems (she was even on bc when she concieved). this is so frustrating, i hate my irregular cycles. dh seems to think that if i go to the doc then he'll put me on bc, but this provera is a bit of a relief to hear about. oh well, we will see what happens

provera is actually progesterone. that's the hormone the level of which rises during the second half of your menstrual cycle. it causes the lining of the uterus to thicken, you take it for 10 days and a few days after you stop you get your period. i just finished a course of provera last week and my period came 5 days later. i really hope this will help make my cycles more regular. my dh and i have been ttc since beginning of november. when i went off the pill my first period took 40 days to come. the next cycle was even longer. when by cd1 my af did not come, i went to the gyn and got put on provera. seems to have worked. we'll see if we hit the jackpot soon! hope that helps.

yes, you will want to make an appt with the gynecologist. and don't be scared. that's what they are there for. you'll feel much better when a trained professional gives you the proper treatment and puts your mind at ease. good luck and hope things work out for you.
