:bouncing: well i just started ttc. I went off the pill around a month ago and have been feeling like i should be getting AF soon but nothing. should have came around monday. can you get pregnant even though your system is messed up? should we still try BDing now and just hope things work out? has anyone gotten pregnant when by alrights they should not have? just being despertate to get PG right away. i will never go back on that pill!!!!! any shared experiences would be appreciated.

it may take a few months for your body to get back to "normal". i went off the pill the beginning of nov, after being on it for 3 years. i got a period right away. then it took forty days for the next af. after that i didn't get af and on cd51 i went to my md who prescribed provera. that's a med that basically induces your af. hopefully things will be back to normal soon. i was just really suprised that i 've been so irregular especially since i was so regular before i went on the pill. but i guess this is to be expected sometimes. like you, i've told my dh that i'm not going back on the pill until we're done having our kids! i never thought it would throw me off track this much. luckily there are things that can help.... best of luck.

I got PG the first month after coming off the pill, sadly it ended in M/C but they say your at a higher risk of getting PG the first month off the pill. Good Luck, I hope you get the results you want.
