 HI,
My hubby finally got a new job yesterday. Went in this morning and they'd changed their minds. He's pretty bumed out. He figures that they did a background check and his meth possession charge from last month came up. They dropped the weapons and consequetive possession charges. He's a good mechanic, actually can fix stuff. Would the charge be on his record before he's convicted? Any ideas how to get a job if your records not clean. He must find something soon or they're going to slap him in jail for not paying childsupport.
Any ideas would be helpful.
Thanks,
VLH

i don't think things like that can be on your record without being convicted of it. i don't see how that would be possible. would any of the references he prob had listed on an application say anything? i don't think otherwise they would be able to find out. well, keep us posted.

In the state of WI the charges are on your records as soon as your charged. The record on that spcecific carge will update as things change. HTH
