Hello! I would think that a glucose level of 66 at the three hour mark would indicate reactive hypoglycemia. Just a thought.

What is reactive hypoglycemia? I knew that I had hypoglycemia due to tests done 2 years ago. Is my blood sugar reacting because of the hormone problems?

Reactive hypoglycemia is the result of overproduction of insulin following consumption of food. I am not clear on the dynamics of it but my brother was recently diagnosed.

I have had hypoglycemia for 7 years (based on symptoms; I've never been tested) that is poorly controlled with diet. I'm sure it's all tied in with everything else that's going on with me.

I wish I could help more but maybe someone else will be able to answer your question about hormone involvement.

Love and Prayers, Kelly
